Conveniently located close to the centre of Ramsbottom the clinic is easily accessible by car or public transport. Free parking is available on Ramsbottom Lane and also Factory Street.

There are a number of bus routes that stop at the Ramsbottom Leisure Centre terminus, which is just a short walk from the clinic.

The clinic, which is located on the ground floor, is easily accessible for patients with limited mobility or those who require disabled access.

Our clinic has been fitted out with the latest equipment, allowing our practitioners to work on all aspects of foot health.

What Is Foot Healthcare?

A foot healthcare specialises in treating and managing conditions of the lower legs and foot. Foot healthcare practitioners treat a wide range of foot pain and foot problems, and they undergo focused education and training to provide the best care for injuries to the feet.

So, here at Ramsbottom Foot Clinic, we have two main appointments; “Ear Healthcare” and “Foot Healthcare” which involve a wide range of lower-limb and foot conditions.

What Is The Difference Between Chiropody and Foot Healthcare?

This is a common question that I get asked every day. Chiropody encompasses the treatment of skin or nail conditions, corns, callus, fungal skin and nail infections and verruca treatment.

Foot healthcare however, is more of a foot doctor and as well as doing normal Chiropody would treat injuries of the foot such as plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, lower limb muscular issues, postural or walking defects as well as diabetic assessments and wound healing.

Foot healthcare practitioners are trained to carry out treatments required in both professions.
